The Midtown Community Organic Garden, located in Palo Alto, is a community oasis behind the Midtown
shopping area. In addition to providing a place for local people to
grow their own food, it is a pleasant place for neighbors to walk
through and get respite from the surrounding built environment. The
land is leased for a small amount from a private landowner, and it is
currently under the fiscal sponsorship of Acterra (see
www.Acterra.org).
No garden plots are currently available. If you are interested in being on the waiting list to rent a plot, please contact Susan
Stansbury. The average wait time is fairly short.
